The winner of eight events, Morgan has accumulated more than $2.7 million in winnings in his career. Morgan was a 2019 Bass Pro Tour winner, picking up the trophy at his home lake on Lake Chickamauga.

In 2023 he earned four Top 5s en route to qualifying for the Elite Series via the 2023 Elite Qualifiers division of the Bassmaster Opens.
